FoodHub.LA , in partnership with its stakeholders, Local Government, Non-Profit, Business and Community organizations will transform the Los Angeles food environment, improve community access to healthy food and strengthen the “value chain “of local food systems from field to fork. Our efforts will create an environment where our collective mission is to create a more equitable, value based, local Los Angeles food system that supports quality jobs, healthy food access, local economic growth, small business development and sustainable agriculture. FoodHub.LA is designed with these equity considerations at the forefront of providing opportunities for growers, producers, distributors and the consumer.

FoodHub.LA is a comprehensive Healthy Food Access solution addressing metropolitan Los Angeles “food deserts” by improving community access through two
delivery systems (our version of a Hybrid Social Impact Business Model). Our
for-profit entity, Express Bite & non-profit entity, Foodaccess.org , comprise FoodHub.LA, which represents a self-sustainable approach. A portion of all sales proceeds from the Express Bite “Fresh-on-the-Go” consumer product line will benefit
